Mr David Izadi CONSULTANT PLASTIC SURGEON, CO-FOUNDER AND CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Mr David Izadi is a UK-trained Consultant Plastic Surgeon known for his technical excellence, global training, and the honest, warm manner that immediately puts patients at ease.

With more than two decades of experience in plastic, reconstructive, aesthetic, hand and peripheral nerve surgery, he is a trusted authority across these disciplines, having performed over 12,000 procedures. 

A graduate of the University of Cambridge, he holds the FRCS (Plast) qualification, the European Board Diploma in Hand Surgery (FEBHS), and a UK Certificate of Completion of Training in plastic surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a consultant at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, listed on the GMC Specialist Register for plastic surgery.

Mr Izadi completed higher surgical training in the Southwest of England before further refining his expertise through advanced fellowships in aesthetic surgery and rhinoplasty, hand surgery at the internationally renowned Pulvertaft Hand Centre, and peripheral nerve and reconstructive surgery at the Institut de la Main in Paris.

In private practice, he is widely recognised as a national expert in rhinoplasty, having trained alongside some of the world’s foremost rhinoplasty surgeons. He offers a comprehensive range of aesthetic and functional procedures – including rhinoplasty, otoplasty, eyelid surgery, breast augmentation, breast reduction, abdominoplasty and body contouring – and is particularly known for delivering natural, harmonious results that enhance each patient’s individual features while preserving their unique identity.

In the NHS, Mr Izadi specialises in complex reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, skin cancer surgery and microsurgery. He is one of a small number of surgeons nationally to offer complex rhinoplasty within a multidisciplinary setting, and is a core member of specialist skin cancer, complex hand surgery and upper limb reconstruction teams. He brings the full range of his NHS expertise to his private practice, including minimal access carpal tunnel surgery, cubital tunnel surgery, trigger finger release and Dupuytren’s surgery.

An elected Council Member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), Mr Izadi is committed to the highest standards of patient safety and surgical excellence. He is  the organiser of Face, Eyes, Nose (regarded as the UK’s leading facial aesthetics and rhinoplasty meeting) and serves as the Plastic Surgery Education Lead for Warwickshire. His dedication to training the next generation of surgeons has been recognised with the prestigious PLASTA National Gold Award for UK and Ireland Trainer of the Year.

An internationally recognised researcher and educator, Mr Izadi has authored over 47 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and scientific presentations, with his work cited more than 1,000 times. His research has contributed to advances in aesthetic, hand and reconstructive surgery.

Mr Izadi is equally committed to improving access to care worldwide. Since 2019, he has undertaken educational and humanitarian visits to Sierra Leone and Nepal through the British Hand Surgery Society’s Global Partnership Committee, working alongside local teams to support sustainable improvements in care for underserved patients.

Rachel Izadi is Co-Founder and Managing Director of The Antler Clinic.

Having worked as a physiotherapist across the NHS and private healthcare for more than a decade, Rachel brings an in-depth understanding of healthcare, professional standards and what matters most to patients.

As Co-Founder and Managing Director, Rachel leads the non-clinical side of The Antler Clinic. She plays a central role in shaping its direction, ensuring that the values and standards that define The Antler Clinic are reflected throughout every stage of a patient’s journey.

Rachel believes that exceptional patient care is built on clinical excellence, trust, clear communication and attention to detail at every stage of a patient’s journey. Her healthcare background continues to inform the thoughtful, patient-centred approach that underpins The Antler Clinic today.

Dr Matthew Wyse ANAESTHETIST

MBBS FRCA

 

Dr Matthew Wyse is a senior NHS and Private anaesthetist who works at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust and at private hospitals in Warwickshire and Northamptonshire.

Dr Wyse has been a consultant since 1999 specialising in anaesthetising for trauma patients, orthopaedic operations and complex plastic surgery cases.

In addition to his work in the operating theatre Dr Wyse is a pre-hospital emergency doctor who works for The Air Ambulance Service as a helicopter doctor. Dr Wyse has recently returned from a mission to South Sudan where he was working for the International Red Cross treating victims of the civil unrest at the Red Cross their war surgery hospital.

 

 

Dr Tim Davies ANAESTHETIST

MB BS BSc (Hons) FRCA

 

Tim is a consultant in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine. He graduated from University College London with merit and completed his core anaesthetic training in London and then higher training in Oxford. This included fellowships at the Nuffield Orthopaedic hospital in regional anaesthesia and a perioperative medicine fellowship at Oxford University Hospitals. He then returned to his home county of Warwickshire to take up a consultant post at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.

Tim is an expert in anaesthesia for all forms of surgery, but sub specialises in complex airway surgery, regional anaesthesia (including hand, shoulder, foot and chest wall blocks), peri operative medicine, transplant surgery and anaesthesia for cosmetic procedures. He also has a personal interest in environmentally conscious anaesthesia.

He has a strong research output with publications in regional anaesthesia, airway and perioperative medicine and is a passionate educator holding the position of Honorary clinical lecturer at Warwick Medical School.
